Data collected
When you write to a dealer, ask for a test drive, make an offer or ask a question: your first and last name, email, phone number and your message.
When you offer your car for sale (“Sell my car”): your contact details and address, the description and condition of the car, its registration or VIN, and proof of your consent (accepted texts, date, IP address and browser).
When you create an alert: your email and your search criteria.
For site security: your IP address and browser, to limit abuse.
Why
To pass your request on to the dealer concerned, or your offer to the dealers chosen by our team: this is the request you make.
To find your car from its registration or VIN: this is your request, handled with a vehicle registration data provider.
To send you the alerts you asked for: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link.
To protect the site against bots and abuse: our legitimate interest.
Recipients
The dealers concerned by your request, who contact you directly.
Our technical providers, for that use only: Vercel (site hosting), Amazon Web Services (data hosting, in Paris), Cloudflare (bot check), Resend (email delivery) and Ubiqwe (vehicle registration data).
Your data is never sold.
Retention periods
Requests to dealers and car sale offers: 3 years after the last exchange, including proof of your consent.
Alerts: until you unsubscribe.
Technical logs (IP address): 12 months at most.
Cookies and storage
autocca.com uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tool.
It only keeps what makes the site work: your choice of country (autocca_market cookie, one year), your favourites and your comparison (kept in your browser, never sent). These are necessary for the service and do not require consent.
The Cloudflare Turnstile bot check protects “Sell my car” without advertising cookies.
YouTube videos in articles only load if you click “Play”: YouTube may then set its own cookies.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (Vercel, Cloudflare, Resend) are based in the United States. These transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, object to it, ask for its portability and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to contact@meteorai.net.
You can also contact the data protection authority of your country (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).
